It is with great sorrow that the family announces her sudden passing at home on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 50 years.
Cherished mother of Britany Burns (Mathew Lessard) and Brooke McCall (Anthony Paddock). Dear daughter of Marlene and Gilles Girard. Loving sister of Josephine Beaven (Bob), Susan Martel (Pete), Bill Burns (Christopher Plummer), Cindy Burns (Dave Roy), Brian Calhoun, Jamie McCall, Kelly Girard-Périgny (Jean) and Kendra Girard (Serge). She leaves behind her father-in-law Fernand (Malou), brother-in-law Dan Boucher, her nieces and nephews Sydney, Zenya, Lateesha, Reeauna, Justin, Leo, Peter, Taylon, David and Bob Jr. and her great-niece Maeva.
She is predeceased by her husband Pierre Boucher, and her birth parents William Burns and Gloria Mossop.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 11am to 12:45pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Church at 1pm. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Schumacher Lions Club. Remembrance donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be greatly appreciated.
