Sharon Ann Middleton (1952-2023)
The family announces with great sadness the peaceful passing of Sharon Middleton on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the age of 70 years at the Timmins & District Hospital. Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many. Left to mourn are her siblings Goldie Middleton (Brenda) of Hartfield, New Brunswick, Jim Middleton (Joanne) of Windsor, Ontario, Paul Middleton (Mary-Ann) of Porcupine, Ontario, Chuck Middleton (Kathi) of Calgary, Alberta, Sandra Albanese (Mark) of La Salle, Manitoba, and Shirley Watkins of Campbell River, British Columbia. Also left to mourn are 9 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews, and many cousins. Predeceased by her parents Buck Middleton in 2002 and Claire Middleton (Sweeney) in 2009 and her beloved companion and loyal 4 legged friend Mickey “J”. Sharon will be lovingly remembered for her caring nature, positive attitude and determination. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor for their care and compassion shown towards Sharon for her short time there. Special thank you also to the nurses and staff of the emergency department at the Timmins & District Hospital, as well as the wonderful care provided by Jessie in Palliative Care, whose professionalism shown through. Lastly we would like to thank our dear cousin Shelly Hannigan for her love and care she provided for Sharon in and out of the hospital and at the Golden Manor. You are a pillar of strength and yes you were her angel. We love you. As per Sharon’s wishes cremation has taken place and there be no service or visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Timmins & District Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit or the Timmins and District Humane Society will be appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
