Sean Simmons
The family announces with great sadness his sudden passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the age of 53 years. Cherished son of Leah De Luca (Brian Ward) and the late John Simmons (1995). Dear brother of Audra Simmons (Mark Ferraro), uncle to Davida, Marcello, Massimo and Angelo, great uncle to Luna. Sean will be sadly missed by his uncles Paul Simunovic and Alan De Luca, his great aunt Frankie Morandin, his cousins Peter, Lino and Mark Morandin, Derek, Wayde (Tammy), Marisa (Jason), Elena (Drew) and also many friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents Bill and Clara De Luca and his aunt Roma Simunovic.
Sean loved being outside, loved the Bush, biking, riding his Harley, and taking his dog on adventures.
As per Sean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from the Miron-Wilson funeral home chapel. Remembrance donations to the Timmins District Humane Society would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
