Renée Monette
It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Renée, on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the age of 53. Cherished daughter of Jacqueline Longpré (Lorraine). Predeceased by her father Hervé Monette, her grandparents Longpré and grandparents Monette, her uncle Jean-Guy and her aunt Vivian’s ( late Lawrence). Survived by her beloved siblings Joanne Popescu (Steve), Marc Janveau (Julie), Don Janveau (Amanda). Renée loved her nieces and nephews; Stéphane, Natalie (Chris), Tierra, Logan, Owen, Noah, Olivia and Emily as well as her great nephew Rowan and great niece Lydeah. Surviving Renée are her aunts and uncles. On her maternal side; her special little matante Iris Longpré and her special Uncle and godfather Ed Longpré (Kathy). On her paternal side; Doreen (late Raymond), Adrian (Joanne), Rachelle, Lorraine (Rolland), Linda, her godmother Darquise (Chris), Marcel (Josette) and Réjean. Renée also leaves many cousins. Renée was our shining star with a beautiful smile. She was a generous, kind hearted, loving, appreciative and caring soul. Always helping anyone in need. Renée will be greatly missed and forever be in our hearts. As per Renée’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at The Porcupine Dante Club,162 Cedar St South,Timmins. A luncheon will be provided. Donations to the Timmins Food Bank or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
