La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district, entouré de famille le jeudi 21 décembre 2023 à l’âge de 74 ans. Époux bien-aimé de Micheline Lamoureux (née Larochelle). Père bien-aimé de Jason, Johanne et beau-père d’Éric Bélanger (Samantha), Cindy McNicol (Jamie) et Luc Bélanger (Jenny). Cher grand-père de Maxime, Dave, Audrée, Jacob, Kaleigh, Isak et Danielle. Cher frère de Jacques (Julie), Marie Chénier (Roch) et Richard (Doreen). Il laisse dans le deuil ses beaux frères et belles sœurs. Il manquera beaucoup à plusieurs nièces, neveux, cousins et amis. Ray est précédé par ses parents Armand et Jeanne Lamoureux et ses frères et sœurs Denise Connell, Roger, Andre et Lise.
La famille souhaite remercier les infirmières et le personnel de l’unité de soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district pour leurs soins et leur compassion.
Des dons commémoratifs faits au soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district seraient appréciés. Conformément à ses souhaits, l’incinération a eu lieu et il n’aura aucun service. Les arrangements sont confiés à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE MIRON-WILSON, 150, rue Balsam Sud, Timmins.
The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death surrounded by family at the Timmins & District Hospital on Thursday December 21, 2023 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Micheline Lamoureux (nee Larochelle). Loving father of Jason, Johanne and step father of Eric Belanger (Samantha), Cindy McNicol (Jamie) and Luc Belanger (Jenny). Cherished grandfather of Maxime, Dave, Audrée, Jacob, Kaleigh, Isak and Danielle. Dear brother of Jacques (Julie), Marie Chenier (Roch) and Richard (Doreen). He is survived by many brothers and sisters in law. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ray is predeceased by his parents Armand and Jeanne Lamoureux and his siblings Denise Connell, Roger, Andre and Lise.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff from the Timmins and District Hospital – Hospice unit for their care and compassion.
Remembrance donations made to the Timmins & District Hospital – Hospice unit would be appreciated. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
