Obituary for
Pauline Chartrand
It is with heavy hearts and deep love we announce the passing of our cherished daughter and sister at the Timmins District Hospital on February 20th at the age of 66.
She will be missed by her mom Pat and step-father Guy Dawkins. Her loved siblings, Sue Garrett (Pat), Andy Chartrand (friend Pauline), Paulette Doiron (Guy) Rosanne Desgagnes (Roger) and Joanne Lebrun (Earl).
Predeceased by her dad Ernest Chartrand, many aunts, uncles, cousins and sister-in-law Monica Chartrand.
Adored aunt (Pinny) to many nieces and nephews and their families. She will be remembered for all the sleepovers with them that she had over the years. She left some special memories that they will cherish forever.
Pauline lived life to the fullest, surrounded by family and friends. She touched everyone in her life with her kindness, her generosity and her spirit. She faced many challenges but her final challenge was with grace and courage that inspired everyone that knew her.
A heartfelt thank you to Doctor Hopkins and the nurses on the Hospice unit for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will happen in August during our annual family group camping trip.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Timmins and District Hospital.
They are lucky to have an angel like you! You will be missed but never forgotten. Till we meet again….♥️♥️♥️
