La famille annonce avec grande tristesse le décès de Patricia (Raiche) Onotsky (née Bérard) le 7 juin 2024 à l’âge de 84 ans.
Épouse bien-aimée de feu Ken Onotsky (1999) et Hubert Charles Raiche (1982). Prédécédée par ses parents, Irène et Ernest Bérard et ses frères Richard et André. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Nicole (Joanne) et son fils Michel (Diane), ses petits-enfants Paul et Michelle (Sam). Tante bien-aimée de Richard (Sharon), Sue (Al), Sean, Shannon (Chris) et Ryan.
Caissière de banque pendant 25 ans, Pat a travaillé chez Northland Trust, Ontario Trust, Canada Trust et la Banque Scotia. Elle a aussi travaillé pour l’ entreprise Lindal Homes. Après sa retraite, elle a fait du bénévolat à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du District (Tuck Shop). Supportrice de longue date de la Fondation Terry Fox et participante active dès sa mise en place, Pat a reçu une reconnaissance spéciale de la fondation lors de la célébration du 40e anniversaire de La Course Terry Fox.
La famille désire remercier le personnel 2- Est du Golden Manor pour tous les soins attentionnés.
L’incinération a eu lieu. Une célébration de vie aura lieu à la Maison Funéraire Lessard, 21 rue Elm Sud, Timmins, le vendredi 14 juin à 11h. La famille recevra les condoléances vendredi de 10h à 11h. Au lieu de fleur, vos témoignages de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Fondation Terry Fox.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Patricia (Raiche) Onotsky (nee Berard) on June 7th, 2024 at the age 84.
Beloved wife of the late Ken Onotsky (1999) and Hubert Charles Raiche (1982). Predeceased by her parents, Irene and Ernest Berard and her bothers Richard and André. Survived by her daughter Nicole (Joanne) and son Michel (Diane), grandchildren Paul and Michelle (Sam). Loving aunt of Richard (Sharon), Sue (Al), Sean, Shannon (Chris), and Ryan.
A bank teller for 25 years, Pat worked at Northland Trust, Ontario Trust, Canada Trust and Scotiabank. Pat also worked with Ken at Lindal Cedar Homes. Once retired, she volunteered at the Timmins and District Hospital in the Tuck Shop. Long time supporter of the Terry Fox Foundation and an active participant from its inception, Pat received special recognition from the foundation at their 40th anniversary celebration.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the 2-East staff at the Golden Manor.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Lessard Funeral Home, 21 Elm Street South, Timmins on Friday June 14th at 11am, with a reception to follow at noon. Family will receive friends on Friday from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Terry Fox Foundation would be appreciated.
