Michel “Mike” Dubeau
The family announces with great sorrow the sudden passing of Mike Dubeau on Monday, November 6th, 2023, at the age of 55. He is survived by his dear parents, Willie and Marguerite Dubeau of Timmins, Ontario. Loving and devoted father and grandfather to five beautiful daughters and ten grandchildren: Valerie Dubeau, Roxanne Dubeau with partner Christian Grimaldi and son Matthew Dubeau, Jessie Dubeau with partner Kevin Marchand (Timmins, Ontario), Linda Dubeau (Kelowna, British Columbia) with partner Jose David and children: Devin, Maggie, Abby, Emma and Samuel, and Margaret-Gail Dubeau with partner Shane Martin and children: James, Nicholas, Lauralie and Izaac, and great-grandchildren (Cochrane, Ontario). He is also survived by his sisters, Suzanne Dubeau and children Christine Dubeau with husband Victor Palao Vincente and theirtwin daughters Dalia and Iris (Yecla, Spain ), and Daniel Dubeau with wife Kaitlyn Heard and their son Fergus (Timmins, Ontario), his sister Carmen Harvey with husband Peter Harvey (Timmins, Ontario) and children John Harvey with wife Tina Harvey and their son Felix Harvey (Ottawa, Ontario), and Katherine Harvey with partner Jeremy Elomaa. (Timmins, Ontario). Pre-deceased by his brother Denis Albert Dubeau (1989) in Timmins, Ontario.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors and could be found in the summertime growing his huge garden in his backyard and hydroponics in the wintertime. He would bless his parents and children with a lot of delicious vegetables. Mike was always ahead of technology and liked flying his drones and creating different objects with his 3-D printer. He was an electrician and a jack of all trades, always working on new projects. He loved his two German Shepherd dogs, Ajay and Luna. Mike would go on bush roads with them, walk miles and train them. He was proud of his dogs and had a very substantial following on social media. They were his constant companions. He will also be greatly missed by many cousins, friends, relatives and ex-wife Maryann Dubeau (Kelowna, BC).
As per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral or visitation. Donations to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
