Daly, Mark (1952-2024)
After a courageous battle with cancer, the family announces with great sorrow his passing at home on Friday, August 9, 2024 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Debbie Daly (nee Mahoney) and loving father of Darryl Daly (Jessie Philbert) of Fonthill, ON and Shannon Daly (Buzz Wawrzaszek) of Timmins. Dear brother of Mickey Daly (Judy) of Barrie. Also left to mourn are his numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law. He was predeceased by his father Donald Daly and his half-sister Leslie-Ann McGlashan. Mark was an avid guitar player and country music lover. He worked for many years as a plumber pipefitter and had many stories about his work and spoke highly of all the jobs he got to work on. He was a proud union member of United Association Local 800. As per his wishes cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 11a.m. until 1p.m. at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. A short prayer service will be held in the funeral home parlour at 1 p.m. followed by the inurnment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery and a reception in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
