Obituary for
Marie-Paule Lebrun (Prévost)
On Sunday, March 24th, surrounded by family, birthday flowers, and her favourite music, Marie-Paule died peacefully.
With the loving support of family and friends, she remained light-hearted while facing physical disability and a seven-month battle with lung cancer.
Marie-Paule’s comedy and compassion allowed many to feel close to her. In the final weeks of her life, finding light in the darkest of moments, she would check the obituaries, and say, “I’m just making sure I’m not in there, yet.”
She was predeceased by her husband, David Lebrun, parents Gaetane and Roger Prévost, brother Marcel, sister Pierrette, sister-in-law Linda, brother Robert, and her cat, Lily. She is survived by her son David (Sharlene), daughter Suzanne (Jesse), grandson Noam, brother Raymond, sister Denise (Paul), sister-in-law Kelly (Jr), brother Alphonse (Jeanne), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Access Better Living for many years of assistance, the friendly staff at Timmins and District Hospital, as well as the nurses at Bayshore HealthCare for providing end-of-life comfort.
Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
