Mom left us today peacefully in her sleep at the Golden Manor on May 25, 2024. She has gone to join dad, her husband, partner and soul mate of 72 years. Loving mother of Lawrence Luhtanen and Laura Pezzola (Tony) both of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Heather Pezzola (Mike Roberts) and their daughters, Ben Pezzola (Amy) and their sons, Patricia Porco (Steve) and their daughter as well as Nicholas Luhtanen and his son.
Predeceased by her parents Charles and Reda Wheeler, her brother Bob and her sister Mary. We would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor, especially the staff on East 1 for their compassion and care of mom.
The family would appreciate all memorial donations be made to the Golden Manor.

The family will get together for a celebration of life for both mom and dad at a later date.
