It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her peaceful passing at the Timmins & District Hospital – St-Mary’s site on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of Paul Rosnawski. Cherished mother of Derek and Shawn Rosnawski. Dear sister of Larry Martel (late Jeanne Brazeau) and Suzanne Martel. She will be missed by her sisters in law Erika Rosnawski and Ingrid Mongeon (Luc). Also left to mourn are her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Lorraine is predeceased by her parents Ernest and Lydia Martel, her siblings Roland, Donald, Germaine, Gaetane and Claire and her brother in law Roman Rosnawski.
Donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Network would be appreciated. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, April 4th, 2024 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Father John Lemire officiating). A reception will follow. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 noon on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
