It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Lillian on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 87.
Loving mother to Vivian Parsons (Dale), Gail Vickers (Daryl), Diane Parsons (Jacques). Cherished grandmother to Shawn (Crystal), Amie (Marc), Jenn (Patrick) and Andrea (Ryan). Great-grandmother to Hailey (Maninder), Nathan, Cameron, Mariah, Teagan, Riley, Brayden, Nora and Nash. Dear sister to Juliette (Claude), Gabrielle (William), Eveline, Rachel, Art (Diane), Violet, Lorraine and Gerry (Rosanne). She will be greatly missed by her brother-in-law Terry St-James (Irene), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lillian is predeceased by the love of her life Gary St-James, her parents Hector and Valentine, her brothers Philias and Ronald as well as by her brothers-in-law Jimmy Coulis, Bob Lang and Roger Langlois.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 12 p.m. (noon) to 1:45 p.m. at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with inurnment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A light luncheon will be served in the Lessard Reception Centre. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
