Obituary for
Liane Levacque (Caron)
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Liane. Her heart was her biggest strength, and her biggest weakness in the end. She is the cherished wife of 46 years and high school sweetheart to Glen Levacque, mother of Tyler and Selena, and mémé to her granddaughter Eva.
Also left to mourn are her siblings Fran Vickers (Gord), Joce Dubien (Gerry), Richard Caron (Joanne), and Jay Caron (Julie). She will be greatly missed by her mom Angeline Caron and her mother-in-law Aline Levacque. She also leaves her sister-in-law Linda Laezza (Joe), brother-in-laws Kevin Levacque (Arlene), and Rob Levacque (Sharon). There are so many wonderful members in the extensive Caron, Levacque, and Thériault family that will miss her. The outpouring of grief and sympathy shows that she was loved by so many.
She rejoins her father Gilles Caron, father-in-law Fred Levacque, and her childhood friend Franny up in heaven. She received excellent care the last few days from paramedics during transfers from Timmins to Sudbury via ORNGE Air, then ambulance to Toronto and all the amazing staff at St.Michael’s hospital in the cardiac-icu unit. We are extremely grateful for all the measures taken.
Mom loved the outdoors, lived life to its fullest, and was such a strong person. Her personality and smile lit up a room; we knew when she was there. We are so grateful to have had her in our lives. When you remember her, smile, and lift up a glass of ginger ale with ice in her honour.
Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Cremation has taken place.
An informal reception will take place on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 from 1PM to 6PM at The Social Venue, located at 27 Maple St S, Timmins, ON. Let’s celebrate Liane’s bright spirit by having a good time together.
