Kathryn Seguin
The family announces with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Kathryn Seguin at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Rheal Seguin (2005). Loving mother of Lynne Douglas (Michael), Daniel Seguin (Raychel), Denise Tambeau (Mario), Louise Seguin (Allan Bangs) and Marc Seguin (Lynda Earl). Cherished grandmother of Steven, Jessica, Eric, Kim, Mathieu, Katrina, Angela, Alex and Andrea and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jack MacDougall, Robert “Bob” MacDougall, Norma Ricci (John) and Gary MacDougall. Also left to mourn is her dearest friend Cecile Lehoux who has been at her side for over 60 years. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Julie and Joseph MacDougall.
The family would like to express gratitude to the Timmins and District Hospital Medical C and Hospice unit staff, nurses and PSWs for their care and compassion. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Malo and Dr. Yates for their excellent care.
The Family will receive friends and family on Sunday, July 7th from 7pm to 9pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL Home, Cremation and Reception Center, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins. A funeral service will take place on Monday, July 8th, 2024 at 1pm from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Deacon Michel Neron officiating) followed by burial at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the Social Venue (27 Maple St. S, Timmins). In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Timmins and District Hospice Unit would be greatly appreciated.
