Juliette Secord (Huard)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Loving wife of 69 years to Roland “Bidou” Secord of Gogama. Dear mother of Suzanne Constantin (Jean-Guy), Dianne Secord (Rick Gravelle), Gilles Secord (Monique), Joanne Secord (Rick Constantin) and Paul Secord (Cheryl). Loving grandmother of Pauline, Alain, Joe, Jamie, Renée, Ryan, Stacey, Aline, Christine, Stanley, Amanda and Shannon and great grandmother of 21 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Pauline Breton and Jeannine Talbot. Predeceased by her son Stan Secord, her brother Omer Huard and her sisters Delores Wright, Yvonne Dwyer and Germaine Lavoie. Juliette loved to knit and crochet and made sure that her family all received a blanket that was crocheted by her. She also enjoyed her scratch tickets and watching the birds fly around the house in her numerous bird houses. Above all, she loved her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much joy. This tight bond with her children was shown when they all came together to help Juliette when she had medical issues and she was able to stay at home. Remembrance donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Juliette’s life will take place at a later date in Gogama. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
