The family announces with sorrow her passing on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the age of 64 years. Loving wife of Gordon Delorme. Dear mother of Rachel Chapados (Dwayne Bertrand) and David Delorme. Loving grandmother of Austin, Kaydence, Ethan, Carissa and Chloe. Dear sister of William Chapados. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law Sherry Charbonneau (Andre), Kelly Chartier (Gerry), Sue Gauthier (Marc) and Tony Delorme as well as her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Wayne Delorme and by her parents William and Mabel Chapados. Joan was a very loving, caring and giving person, she will be missed by her many co-workers and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Timmins and District Hospital on Medical B and C floors for the excellent care that Joan received. Remembrance donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Joan’s Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
