Our beloved mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Janet Rondeau passed away with her family by her side on October 12 2024 at the age of 87 years.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children Louise (Merv), Michel and Pat; her grandchildren Daniel Cloutier (Carol) and Pierre Cloutier (Sheena); her great-grandchildren Esme, Parker and Owen; her 3 sisters and one brother Doreen Ladouceur (Lorenzo), Arsene Jr (Butch) Lacourse (Viviane), Marlene Guerin (Gord) and Judy Lainsbury, her sister-in-law Carlene Lacourse and by many nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Fernand Rondeau of 44 years; her son Denis Rondeau; her sister Patricia Picard; her brother-in-law Gilles Picard; her brothers Michael Lacourse and Richard Lacourse; her parents Arsene Lacourse and Rose Lacourse (nee Zolob); her in-laws Noe Rondeau, Beatrice Rondeau, Paul Rondeau, Yollande Rondeau, Leonard Rondeau, Claudette Rondeau, Reine Boulanger, Romeo Boulanger, Oliver Rondeau and Bill Lainsbury.
Mom was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother whom she embraced every moment with all. She had a beautiful personality and had a passion for knitting, caring for her beautiful flower garden and very dedicated to her fur babies.
Mom will be dearly missed by all. Her smile, her spirit and her goodness will remain alive in the hearts of everyone who knew mom. We the family ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Health Science North in Sudbury and Timmins District Hospital for their care and compassion for mom.
Funeral service will be held on Friday October 18, 2024 at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday October 18, 2024 from 9:30 am to 11am at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre.
Remembrance donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
