Huguette Laforge (Jodouin)
The family announces with great sorrow her peaceful passing at home surrounded by her three children on November 28, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Leon “Charlie” Laforge (2005). Loving mother of Lorraine Boulanger (Guy Hamel) of Timmins, Daniel Laforge (Michelle) of Timmins and Lynn Rizzuto (Domenic) of Midland. She will be dearly missed by her grand-children, Keith, David, Amy, Erika, Marc, Branden and Alyssa and her great grandchildren Emily, Aden, Tysan, Mavric and Winston. Huguette is survived by her sisters Juliette (Dominic) Branca of Montvale, New Jersey, and Paulette (Gilbert) Nadeau of Timmins, her brothers John (Francine) Jodouin of Sudbury and Michel (Huguette) Jodouin of Timmins, her sister-in-law Jeanne Jodouin and brother-in-law Roger Laforge. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Gérard and Jeannette Jodouin, her sister Thérèse (Bob) Hadley, her brother Charlie and sister-in-law Diane Rainville.
Our mother was a proud woman, who had a passion for bingo, cribbage, crochet, cooking, baking and going for coffee with her family and friends. Mom was a kind, caring and loving person who cherished her children, grandchildren as well as her family and friends. We will all miss you dearly Mom, Nanny, Mémère, grand-maman, Huggy. The family would like to thank everyone who aided in her care over the last few months, especially Dr. Karen Armstrong. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated.
Funeral service will be held at 4pm on Friday, December 1, 2023 from the chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). Remembrance donations to Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Friday, December 1st at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
