The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Dear mother of Darlene MacDonald (Eric Badour). Loving grandmother of Steven and Michael and great grandmother of Mason, Ryker and Bella. Dear sister of Norman McGee, Raymond McGee (Linda), Hazel McGee and Ann McGee. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Bea MacDonald and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her sons Darcy and Dean MacDonald and by her brothers Eric and Brian McGee. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Golden Manor, especially Kelly Sasseville for their care and compassion. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends and family on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:45pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
