Obituary for
Gisele Fauvelle (Tambeau)
The family announces with sorrow her sudden and unexpected passing on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at home at the age of 76 years. Predeceased by her first husband Denis Fauvelle in 1981 and her second husband Len Cotnam in 2017. Cherished mother of Lionel (Viviane), Denis (Ginette) and Angèle (Jody). Loving grandmother of Jessie (Denis), Jenna (Carey), Nicholas (Olivia), Brittany (Alex) and Kyle (Cindy) and great grandmother of Jennix, Jemmie, Iris, Hudson and Hayden. Dear sister of Lina Lamothe. Predeceased by her son Patrick in 1984 and her brothers and sisters Julienne Routier (Royal), Hubert Boulanger (Kathy), Gilles (Aline), Cleo Tambeau (Sharron), Diane Carpenter (Murray), Lise Caron (Art) and Don (Elizabeth). Gisèle suffered many losses along the way, but with her strength and determination, she kept moving forward with her chin up. She was highly respected for her honesty and opinions when providing advice. She was a wise woman (tiny but mighty). We will cherish the memories and carry her in our hearts forever and always. She knew how to navigate this sometimes harsh world, and did so with finesse and style. Best known for her no non sense opinions, honesty and her beloved trips to Walmart. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive family and friends for a memorial reception from 2-4 pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
