It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Frances at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the age of 87 years. A remarkable mother, grandmother and aunt whose unconditional love and sweet nature touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will forever be cherished for her kindness and warmth, and the immense love she shared with her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband and the father of their children Lorne Richards and her partner Peter Bigras. Loving mother of Jack (Jan), Lorna (Steve Green) and Allan (Nathalie) all of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Christopher Lamarche), Jessica (Christopher Larouche), Mathew (Candice) , Michael, Kevin, Corey (Mabel). Great grandmother of Harper and Brynleigh Lamarche, Ryott, Lennix, Junior, Eli and Brenna and Logan Larouche. She is also predeceased by her 8 siblings. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Lesley Griffiths for all her care to mom over the years. We are also truly grateful for the all the care provided by Dr. Sonia DiTullio your support and guidance was much appreciated and the nurses who cared for her at TADH Emergency Department and Medical B. A heartfelt thank you to the nurses in hospice at Timmins and District Hospital, Pam, Julie, Sierra, and Tina for the compassion during this difficult time.
As per Frances wishes, cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation Oncology Department would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, Ontario
