The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on April 4, 2024 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of 63 years to Fernande (nee Gagnon) and loving father of Lynda Banville (Sylvain Beaumont), Denise Banville (Marc Roy), Donald (Suzanne) Banville and late Melissa Lemieux-Banville. Cherished grandfather of Andre Banville (Katrine Castonguay), Vicky Shedler (Cameron Perkins), Stephen Shedler (Candice English), Daniel Banville, Stephanie Banville (Andre Beaudoin) and Pepere to Laya, Melodie, Theo and Alexander.
Predeceased by his parents Camille and Cecile Banville his brother Claude (Clairina) and sister Yvonne (Gerald). The family would like to thank Bayshore Nurses, paramedics and Dr. Rachelle Maisonneuve for the extraordinary care provided to Fern during his time of illness.
