It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing on Friday April 26, 2024 at Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 89.
She will be greatly missed by her children; Leo (Della) Scott-Bouchard, John (Georgette) Scott-Bouchard, Angélique (Gil) Gervais, as well as her grandchildren; Mandy (Joey), Tricia (Devin), Scott (Julie), Nancy (Rolly), Evelyn (Derek), Laura (Mark), Sabrina (Daryn), Celine, Crystal (Victoria) and Chase. She also leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Also left to mourn are her siblings; Nan (Jack) Hallman and John (Estelle) Ouellette.
Evelene was predeceased by her husband Louis Scott-Bouchard, her son Lawrence (Heather) Scott-Bouchard, her sister Janet (Roy) Warne and her brothers Gerry and Tom Ouellette as well as by her parents John and Marie-Jeanne (nee Serre) Ouellette.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Funeral service will follow at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Tisdale Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Lessard Reception Centre. Remembrance donations made to the St-Joachim’s Parish would be greatly appreciated.
