Elmer Clifford Ottoson
The family announces with great sadness Elmer’s passing at the Anson General Hospital on Monday, January 8, 2024 at the age of 71 years. Loving husband of Yvonne (nee Collins) and dearest father of Michael (Sylvia), Tony, Bonnie Tardif (Stefan), Steven Squire and Victoria Thornton. Cherished grandpa to Jesse Martinez (Jacqueline Woodrich), Justin Sanders, Jasmine Sanders (Dayna Harb), Christina Squire, Katelyn Tardif and Nicholas Tardif and great grandfather of Adrianne Martinez. Survived by his brother Fred Ottoson (late Diane) and loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Jessie, his son Julian (Caryn-Anne), his grandchildren Simon and Isabella and his brothers Alan and Jim.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial of his ashes will take place at a later time. In Elmer’s honour, remembrance donations to the Anson General Hospital – Hospice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2-5 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 BALSAM ST. S., TIMMINS, ON.
