February 2, 1950 – November 22, 2023
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at the age of 73 years old, after a short battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Roger Levesque (2022). Loving mother of Chantal Rheault (Dana) and Richard Rheault (Evelynne). Cherished grandmother of Ryan Rheault (Jessica) and dear great grandmother of Easton. Denise will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Also left to mourn is her best friend Kathy Black, as well as her good friends Joanne and Bev. She leaves behind her fur baby Eddie who will miss her deeply. A special thank you to all of the Levesque family for their family support. Denise was predeceased by her parents Roger (1989) and Isabelle (2017) Gadoury, her sister Marianne Gadoury-Strange (2005) and her beloved dog Tyler. Denise was known as the long time manager at Woolco and the Bargain Shop. She enjoyed spending time at their cottage at the Mattagami Haven, gardening, blueberry picking, listening to country music and cooking for those she loved. Let’s not forget that she was also a hardcore Toronto Maple Leafs fan. She will be sadly missed by many. A big thank you to everyone one, near and far, who took the time to visit Denise at the farm during the last few weeks of her life. She expressed how much she truly loved seeing each and every one of you. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
