Claveau, Denis (1962-2024)
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday June 1st, 2024 at the age of 61 years. Beloved partner of Denise Brazeau (nee Longpre) of Timmins. Dear father of Shawn Cleaveau and step-father of Helene Brazeau. Cherished grandfather of Jeremy and Benjamin Brazeau-Lauzon. Loving son of Nicole Claveau and brother of Alain Claveau (April), Marcel Claveau (Michelle) and Susan Claveau. Also left to mourn are his many nieces and nephews, and his good friends Ron and Isabelle Nadeau, Keith Aucoin and Paul Lauzon. He will be sadly missed by his aunt Cloe, his uncle john and his uncle Chic, who helped take care of Denis. He was predeceased by his father Charles Cleveau and his step-sons Michel and Danny Brazeau. Denis was a truck driver for most of his life and he will be missed by the Claude Vachon Trucking crew. The family would like to thank all the staff from the House of Kin, Dr Pierce and the staff from the Sudbury Cancer Center, All the doctors and nurses in the radiation unit and the TDH Hospice unit, as well as Dr. Armstrong and Dr. Lax; for their care and compassion. As per his request, cremation was held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Sudbury House of Kin or the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation (Hospice Unit) would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
