The family announces with sorrow her passing on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 76. She is survived by her children Diane (Russel) Cayen, Jo-Hanne Belec, and Robert (Tara) Belec; her grandchildren Dean Cayen, Amanda (Eric) Rivard, Talisa (Cory) Gagnon, Ryliegh Belec, Joshua Belec, as well as Eric and Stephane Belec and their mother Simone Drouin; and her 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Raymond Breau, Jacqueline Breau, Denise Lyrette, Debbie Breau and Lorraine Belliveau, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Lefevre (Ron), her son Jean-Paul Belec, her parents Kenneth and Marguerite Breau, her brothers Laurier Breau and Paul Emile Breau, as well as the father of her children Leo Belec, and her second husband Oscar Morrissette (survived by her step-children Gary Morrissette and Jo-Anne Broughton).
Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre.
