The family announces with great sorrow her passing surrounded by her family on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Hector Michaud (May 11, 2019). Loving mother of Sue Villeneuve (Joe), Raymond “Tigas”, Linda Michaud-Harju, Nicole Gamelin (Ed), Claire Dubien (Shane), and Hector Jr. “Buck”. Also left to mourn are 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.
She is predeceased by her parents, as well as by 1 sister-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.
Colette was a devoted mother, wife and memere. Her passions were baking, knitting, and of course, bingo!
The family would like to thank Dr. Sonia DiTullio and the staff at Extendicare Timmins for their compassion and care.
As per Colette’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 starting at 2pm at 352 Oak Ave., Timmins. The arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations made to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
