It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 67.
Beloved wife of Raymond Roy. Loving mother of Jennifer Roy (Rob Dampier), Ryan Roy (Kayla). Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Hannah, Mikaela, Rhett and Reese.
Dear sister of Rosanne Larivière (Raymond), Lynda Gagnon (Claude), Greg Berlingeri (Julie), Ralph Berlingeri (Celine), Randy Berlingeri (late Cindy) and Paul Berlingeri. She will be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law Gerald Roy (Linda), Dennis Roy, as well as by her fur baby her dog Ava and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Lorraine Berlingeri, sisters-in-law Cindy Berlingeri, Jackie (late Mark) Mackenzie and Marilyn Roy.
Christina was adored. She was an amazing mother, wife and grandmother. She demonstrated what a selfless, strong and resilient person. Above all, her priority was always her family. She cherished her husband, her children and her grandchildren. They always came first. Being the # 1 fan at every hockey game, bowling every Saturday and any other activity that they were participating in. She did everything she could to be present in their lives for any and every accomplishment. Christina also had a passion for the outdoors. She enjoyed camping at Ivanhoe Provincial Park and Rice Lake.
The family would like to thank Dr. Pastre, Dr Moore, Dr. Tremblay and to all the very caring while she was on Med C and to all the nurses that gave her love and dignity. The family would like to thank Dr. Bates her family doctor for all her Care and attention over the years.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 1pm to 3pmat LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception in the Lessard Reception Hall. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital- Hospice or the Terry Fox Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
