Charlotte attended Hair Dressing School in North Bay and purchased her first salon at a very young age. She loved her hairdressing career and all her clients, many of whom that ended up being more like family. Charlotte was eventually able to work from home, becoming a stay-at-home mom and part time hairdresser.
Charlotte loved to dance with Raymond over the years and they especially loved to jive! She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren, especially in the backyard swimming. Charlotte loved to crochet, made great birthday cakes, and weekly euchre games with her friends were a regular event. She still had many good friends from her childhood and loved them all!
Charlotte was a good, honest, kind and loving person always willing to help her family and friends. She often said she had a wonderful husband, family and home. She enjoyed being at home and took great pride in it.
Charlotte and Raymond loved camping while their children were young and they were blessed to have travelled the world while they were young and healthy. Whether it was Europe, an island, or a cruise, they enjoyed them all; but her favourite was travelling to Las Vegas, playing slots and going to shows!
Thank you to Kari for everything you did to help Charlotte fulfill her wish to remain at home. We are so grateful to Julie, our angel, for her daily help and kindness towards her. We can’t thank you both enough!
Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at TADH for taking special care of Charlotte, especially Natalie in hospice, who was compassionate, respectful and went above and beyond for our family.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Covenant (First) United Church, 230 8th Ave., Timmins. As per Charlotte’s wishes, a celebration of life/funeral will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served following the funeral.
