It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of Veijo Mord. She is predeceased by her 3 children Robert Richer, Rodney Richer and Debbie Richer. She is survived by her sisters Mary Watson of Langley, BC, Theresa (Bruce Moreau) of Sault-Ste-Marie, ON and Jeannine Metheral of Belleville, ON, as well as by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Caroline and Grant Richer of Espanola. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is also predeceased by her parents and by her first husband George Richer.
Anne volunteered for over 20 years at the Golden Manor. She had a passion for fishing, boating and camping.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. A service will be held at a later date and interment of her ashes will take place in Kapuskasing. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
