It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald “Ron” James Morgan of Tillsonburg and formerly of Scotland on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Victoria Hospital in London at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 48 years to Amy (Szoke). Proud and loving father of James Morgan and Lesley Thurston and her husband Jeff. Dear brother of Rodger Morgan (Hanorah), Tim Morgan (Cheryl) and Dana Morgan (Kim). Ron is also survived by his sisters-in-law Lorraine Morgan, Kathy Strauss (Ken), Susan Carter (David), Josie McDonnell (Stephen) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Norma (Spence) Huson and her husband Bob and his brother Wayne Morgan. Ron was a true outdoorsman. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed hunting and gardening. In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at St. Paul’ United Church, 88 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10:00 am – 10:45 am. The Memorial Service for Ron will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Karlene Brown-Palmer officiating. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated and can be made directly online or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Morgan family.
