ROBERT “BOB” LAVERN AITCHISON
December 23, 1929 – April 21, 2024
Robert “Bob” Lavern Aitchison, of Paris and formerly of Brantford and Long Point, passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the age of 94 years. Beloved husband and best friend of the Late Eleanor (Epplett) Aitchison (2016). Proud father of Daniel Aitchison (Annie Siew). Cherished grandfather of Lauren (Mike), Katelyn (Joe) and Andrew. Bob will also be missed by his nieces Heather Oakes (Alan) and Carla Leigh. Predeceased by his parents Percival and Catherine (Rennie) Aitchison, his brother Douglas Aitchison and sister June Clement. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Service for Bob will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Oakes family farm. Memorial donations in memory of Bob are welcomed to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.Personal condolences may be sent to www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com
