Unexpectedly, at her home in Tillsonburg on Thursday, July 11, 2024, Peggy Suzanne (Butterworth) Scott passed away at the age of 66 years. Beloved daughter of Anita and the Late Ernie Whitney. Proud and loving Mom of Ashley Jones (Matt), Katie Scott – Hunt (Adam), Matthew Scott (Becca) and their father Greg Scott. Cherished Nana of Lennyx and her Honorary grandsons Owen and Lucas. Dear sister of Kathy, Terry, Bill, Sharon (James), Dan (Dolorese) and Jean. Peggy is survived by many nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her loving pets. Peggy is best known for her huge heart, constant positivity and loving commitment to her family. She was the best hugger and an avid animal lover, whose door was always open to family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. In keeping with Peggy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations to the Oxford County Animal Rescue or Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario may be made directly online or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by Peggy’s family.
