Peacefully, at her home in Simcoe on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, Patricia “Patty” Louise Smithers passed away at the age of 82 years. Dear sister of Jean Mann (Stan) of Tillsonburg and Jim Smithers of Port Dover. Patty is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her many friends at Community Living in Simcoe. Predeceased by her parents George and Jennie (Ormerod) Smithers and her brother Robert Smithers. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 10:00 am – 10:45 am. The Memorial Service for Patty will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Doug Smith officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Patty’s family.
