RODGERS, Michael Joseph Russell (September 15, 1955 – July 6, 2024)
Passed away, unexpectedly due to medical reasons, on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at University Hospital, London, ON at the age of 68 years. Born and a lifelong resident of Tillsonburg, Michael is the son of the late Loyd Douglas Rodgers and late Olive (Petrie) Rodgers. Michael was a graduate of Glendale High School. He was a basketball enthusiast and he enjoyed playing in his younger years. Michael loved the outdoors, fishing and farming. Michael was a dedicated member of the Masonic Order, Vienna Lodge No. 237. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and Masonic brethren.
Michael is survived by his siblings Brad (Susan) Rodgers, of Burk’s Falls; Kim (Greg) Anderson, of Oakland; Richard Rodgers (late Joanne, 2022), of Langton; and Drew (Susan) Rodgers, of Waterloo. Also survived by an uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Michael’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place later in the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium.
