Sayeau, Howard “Wayne” (1954-2024) –
Passed away, peacefully after a courageous struggle with illness, on June 3, 2024, at Maple Manor Long Term Care, “Wayne” Howard Sayeau, at the age of 69. Born in Brockville, Wayne lived most of his life in Prescott, where he was employed as an ambulance dispatcher. In 1994, he moved his family to Norwich where he worked at Hollande Equipment and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. Wayne is survived by his loving and much-loved children Scott (Mary) Sayeau, of Norwich and their son Grayson; Patrick Sayeau, of Tillsonburg. Also survived by his sisters Georene Mitchell, of Otterville; Joyce Butler, of Alberta; Deanna Mackell, of Alberta.
In keeping with Wayne’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation” would be gratefully acknowledged by the Sayeau family and can be made through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), entrusted with cremation arrangements.
