The family sadly announces the passing of their cherished wife, mother and grandmother, Gladys Darlene McGaw on Saturday April 27, 2024. Beloved wife of 47 years to Michael McGaw. Hard-working and caring mother to Darryl (Crystal) McGaw and Michael McGaw Jr. Proud, fun-loving grandmother to Aiden and Liam McGaw. Loving sister to John (Tammy) Douglas, Diane (Jay) Hall. Gladys will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Lillian Douglas, siblings Clarence, Donald and Barbie Douglas. Gladys loved Bingo and was very passionate about her flower gardens and taking care of her family and friends. Friends and relatives will be received by the McGaw family at Ostrander’s Funeral Home; 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. The Funeral Service for Gladys will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 11am in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ontario Humane Society can be made online directly with each organization or via cheque payable to the charity by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
