It is with heavy hearts the family of Donna Gail (Diering) Young had to say goodbye on Thursday November 2, 2023. Donna passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital at the age of 54 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Robert for 27 years. Proud and loving mother of the Late Gregory Diering (2006), Jasmine Diering and Randy Diering (Anessa Hamilton). Cherished Grandma of Maria, Keegan, Sutton, Ryker and Hayden. Dear sister of Albert, Janet, the Late Louise, Lavina and Bobby. Donna is also survived by her best friends Cheryl and Abbie and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Gertie Diering, step-father “Papa Frank” Bastien and her father Horst Diering. Donna was partner with Robert of KTN Taxi and Delivery in Tillsonburg and Ingersoll. She also provided a day care in her home for over 20 years. She was heavily involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She was the world’s best hockey mom/grandma. Donna also volunteered with Tillsonburg Soccer Club as coach and convenor. In keeping with Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by Donna’s family.
