After a lengthy battle with illness the family wishes to announce the passing of Donald Stanley Wardle of Tillsonburg on January 8, 2024 at the age of 83 years.
Predeceased by his wife Sandy (2012). Survived by the mother of his children Velma Wardle.
Loving father to Mark Wardle, Shelly Covey (Terry), Kelly Oud-Klassen (Jake), Wendy Culp, the late Donnie (2020) (Sandra), Melissa Barras (Matt).
Grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Brother to 6 siblings and uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Martha Wardle, 2 grandchildren and 6 siblings.
Friends and relatives were received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday January 11, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and then again on Friday January 12, 2024 from 12:00pm until 12:45pm just before service time at 1:00pm. Interment followed in Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated and can be completed directly with the Charity or via cheque payable to the charity by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
