Khan, Anthony (October 18, 1951 – April 23, 2024) –
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Anthony Khan, known to many as Tony. He peacefully departed on April 23, 2024, at University Hospital in London at the age of 72. Originally from Trinidad and a cherished member of Tillsonburg, Anthony was a skilled mechanic who found joy in working anything with a motor, as an independent tradesman. He dedicated his days to his craft and found solace in the serene moments spent fishing during his leisure time. Anthony’s presence graced the congregation of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Tillsonburg.
Anthony was the eldest son to the loving late parents of Sorab and Joan Khan. Left to cherish his memory are his adored mother of his children Jessica Khan followed by loving daughters Teisha Boyce of Tillsonburg, Nisha Khan and spouse Ryan Dunseith of Tillsonburg and admired grandchildren, Ethan Pierre Boyce and Noah Yvon Boyce and Maya April Lucier; alongside survived by his siblings Michael Khan, Patsy Khan, Whaid Khan, and Jameel Khan; as well as his cherished sister-in-law’s Tiny Khan and Jenny Khan, and niece Megan Khan, nephew Kevin Khan, and cousins. In his journey onward, Anthony leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
In keeping with Anthony’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to attend public visitation on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Family eulogies will follow at 10:45 a.m. Funeral Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday May 4th, at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Fr. Seejo John, of St. Mary’s Church. Inurnment will take place later in Trinidad.
