The family and friends of Alice June Chambers wish to announce her peaceful passing at Maple Manor Nursing Home on Sunday March 31, 2024 at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her loving parents Norman and Alice, brothers J. Frederick and Lewis. Survived by 3 nieces, a nephew, extended family and dear friends.
For many years, Alice owned and operated a Christian Book Store in Sarnia. Prior to that, many knew Alice as she was a public school teacher in the Tillsonburg area.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday April 8, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am. The Funeral will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home at 11:00 am immediately following the visitation. Interment will be held at Tillsonburg Cemetery. Pastor Carl Walters to officiate. Memorial donations to the Goshen Baptist Church and can be done directly with the Church or (payable by cheque to the Church) by mailing to Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
