Smith, Alan Glen (January 19, 1965 – July 19, 2024) –
Passed away, peacefully, with his loving daughters by his side, after a courageous struggle with illness, Alan Glen Smith, a resident of London and formerly of Tillsonburg, Woodstock and Peterborough, on July 19, 2024, at the age of 59. During Alan’s working years, he was an employee at Brazeway Canada and Superior Propane (Courtland Depot). He also enjoyed building custom cars and trucks. Alan is lovingly remembered by his caring daughters Jessica Smith and Jasmine Bonnie-Skye Therrien. Proud grandfather to Derrick. Predeceased by his much-loved mother Diane Smith (2022), by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and two canine best friends China and Bailey.
In keeping with Alan’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Everyone who knew Alan is invited to share condolences, favourite memories, photos and contribute memorial donations to the “Canadian Mental Health Association” or to the “Canadian Cancer Society” via Alan’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
