Maurice Joseph Lemieux, born August 12, 1934 in Barachois, Quebec, passed away on May 10, 2024 in Thunder Bay, Ontario at age 89.
He is survived by his son Nelson (Wendie) and grandson Christopher of Hamilton, Ontario; daughter Monique Favreau (Dale) and grandson Jarrid, granddaughter Elizabeth (Lux); and sister Cécile Deroy of Montreal.
He was predeceased by his parents, Xavier and Elizabeth, six brothers, Bernard, Ernest, Godfroy, Alcide, Amable, Benoit and his sister Adele.
Should friends desire memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay would be appreciated.
A family service will be held at a later date.
