October 27, 1957-April 6, 2024
After a 4 1/2 year battle with cancer, Lisa passed away peacefully while sleeping in her bed at home.
She was tough as nails throughout her illness. She never gave up, never complained and always cared more about the well being of others when asked how she was doing. Her passions included fishing, vacationing with family and friends, parties and socializing.
She is survived by her husband Al Kamp, brothers Randy and David Supplee, daughters Barbie and Betsy Burns, granddaughter Nykki Williamson and stepdaughter Shannon Kamp. Her extended family always included her dear friends; Tracey and Roy Maki, Cathy Matheson, Marge Anderson, Tammy Armstine, Greg Armstine, Kelly Sigurdson,Cindy Green, Linda Glena, Marcel and Marcia Brunelle, Rob Lemay and Suzy Madunic, Rhonda and Nick Lento, Elaine Soucy and Bill Moody, Chris and Bill Young and of course Joe the Cat, her constant companion at home.
Lisa always felt blessed by the care and compassion of the entire health care team at the Thunder Bay
Regional Cancer Care Centre. Thank you for your outstanding service.
Lisa’s wish was to be cremated followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering when the weather is pleasant
and the fishing is good.
