Henry Robert Gustafson (Hank Snow) passed away on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital after a year-long battle with cancer. Through his courageous fight he kept his faith and his sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Yvonne and his children Elliot, Hope (Jermaine), Josh (Mandy), Curtis, Diane, Shirley (Frank Sr), Charles Henry, Owen, Clement (Ethel), and Ryan (Shannon). Henry also leaves behind his oldest sister Lillian who was a constant support through his battle and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his father Gunnar, mother Josephine, his sister Jean, brother George, sister Anna, his daughter Pearl, son Julian, favorite niece Blondie and first wife Florence.
A viewing is scheduled at Sargent and Sons in Thunder Bay for Saturday September 7, 2024 from 10 till 11am. Henry will then make his last journey home to Armstrong Station where a wake will take place that evening at his home located at 6 Northern Crescent for immediate family. Viewing will be open to the community all day Sunday September 8, 2024. A service will be held at Our Lady of Snow on Monday September 9, 2024 at 11am.
