EBY: Shirley Jean – 79, of Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton and formerly of Stratford and Sebastopol-Tavistock, passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
She was born at Stratford on March 4, 1944 a daughter of the late Henry Peter Engel and the former Doris Marie Leuszler.
Shirley married G. Richard Eby at Cambridge, on September 29, 1979. He predeceased her on May 3, 2012.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Esther Ann Eby of Stratford.
A service to celebrate the life of Shirley will be held at Tavistock Missionary Church on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2 pm. Pastor Hugh Rutledge will officiate. Reception following. Interment at South Easthope Cemetery, Shakespeare at a later date.
Donations to Tavistock Missionary Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
