ROTH: Ernest John – 83, of Stratford passed away at the Maples Home for Seniors in Tavistock on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
He was an employee of Fram Canada in Stratford for 37 years and a member of Jubilee Stratford.
John was predeceased by his parents, Aaron B. and Gertrude (Ruby) Roth.
He is survived by his wife, Lorna Sarah Ann (Nafziger) Roth; two children, Michael “Mike” Roth, Anita Clarkson (Terry); three grandchildren, Jade Roth (Matthew Hintermayer), Benjamin Roth, Maxwell Roth; three step-grandchildren, Brennan Clarkson (Amy), Shane Clarkson (Nicki), Lindsey Burdett (Brent); six step-great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Grace and John Stere, Edith and Kenneth Gingerich; two brothers and sister-in-law, Glenn Roth, Harley and Betty Roth.
A family graveside service was held at the East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th Line on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Pastor Trevor Biehn officiated.
A celebration of life for John will be held at Jubilee Stratford, 707 Downie Street, Stratford on Sunday November 26, 2023 from 2 – 4.30 pm.
