MOSIONDZ, Benjamin “Ben”
Passed away with a broken heart just 5 weeks after his wife Ann passed. Ben passed with his daughter at his side on March 22, 2024, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 76.
Father of Sheldon and wife Leigh-Ann, Sheryl and husband John Kent, and Sara and husband Malcolm McAuley. Grandfather of Hannah, Josh, Jacob (Angel), Benjamin, Aiden and Liam and great-grandfather of Jace. Ben will be missed by sisters Sonya, Gloria, Bernadette (Wayne), sisters-in-law Georgina, Ardith, and Doreen.
Ben is predeceased by his father and mother Alex and Lena (Glute) Mosiondz, his wife Ann (Kelly) Mosiondz (Feb. 12, 2024), brothers; Metro, Steve, Bill, Terry, Lawrence (Pat), sister; Sylvia (Tom), and brother-in-law Harvey.
Ben was an avid outdoors man. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and atving. He loved to cook cabbage rolls, borscht and make his famous potato salad. He was the proud owner of A1 siding and roofing for over 35 years. Ben enjoyed writing his name in ketchup on his breakfast plate and would be noticed wearing tshirts with his family picture on them.
At Ben’s request cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place, where Ben will be reunited with his wife.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Mental Health Association and can be done through the funeral home website.
